Replacement Options
The first option, and usually the easiest one, is to return your straightener directly to the retailer where you purchased it (e.g. your local beauty salon). Depending on the situation and on the retailer’s particular policies, they may offer a refund, a replacement, or another solution.
If you cannot or do not wish to make arrangements through the retailer, the second option is to request a replacement (by mail) directly from Lionesse.

Requesting a Warranty Replacement from Lionesse
To qualify for a warranty replacement, your hair tool must be purchased from an authorized retailer. All products must be registered in order for the warranty to apply. The registration form can be found below.

To request a replacement, assemble a package including:

  • the straightener or gift set to be replaced
  • a copy of the purchase receipt (or a bank statement that shows the purchase)
  • your name, phone number, email address, and postal address (no PO Boxes)
  • $20 Domestic shipping for replacements and $45 for international (no personal checks)
  • International Orders may be subject to duties and taxes.

Shipping and handling fees can be paid by credit card, money order, or cashier’s check. For credit card payments, please simply note “payment by credit card” and a representative will contact you by telephone to arrange for payment. Please note that cash and personal checks are not accepted and we are not able to send replacements to P.O. boxes.

Requests are generally processed in 1-2 business days. Replacements are generally delivered within 5-7 business days (for domestic orders).

Warranty Replacements
In all cases, the product should be under warranty (i.e. purchased within the last 365 days) and the problem should be related to a manufacturing defect rather than a problem that arises from everyday use or any kind of misuse. For example, if the on/off switch was broken when you received your straightener, that would be considered a manufacturing defect and the straightener would be eligible for replacement under warranty. If the switch broke off when you dropped the straightener, that would not be considered a manufacturing defect and the straightener would not be eligible for replacement under warranty.

International Warranty Replacement Orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by your country’s customs department upon arrival. When ordering from Lionesse.com, the recipient of the shipment is the importer of record and is responsible for any of these import fees, as well as complying with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Lionesse does not collect duties and taxes, and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for more information.

Those with a Lifetime Warranty should ensure that they include the card along with the requirements listed above.

Gift Sets
If your straightener came as part of a set or a gift set, please return all items together, since generally sets can only be replaced as a whole and not as individual components. In some cases, we may be able to replace individual components, or we may replace individual components with similar but not identical items. Before requesting replacement for an incomplete set, please call in advance to verify.

Warranty Extensions
If your warranty has expired or if you do not have an original purchase receipt, you may wish to purchase an extended warranty at a discounted rate. A 3-year extension is available for $70 ($50 plus $20 S&H). To purchase a warranty extension, please call 877-402-2476.

Return Policy

At Lionesse, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase, because customer experience is our top priority. After all, we invest a lot of energy and time into creating the perfect Lionesse products so that you can enjoy spectacular beauty and hair styles every day. If you’re not 100% satisfied with your product, please feel free to initiate a product exchange (of your choice) within 30 days of purchase. Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds at this time.

Please contact the original Lionesse store where you purchased your product and bring your product along in its original packaging, as well as your purchase receipt.

Lionesse is proud to stand behind its products and our customer’s satisfaction. For all in-store purchases, ask about a free product trial before you buy. For all authorized online purchases, Lionesse offers a Manufacturer Warranty – if you are not satisfied with your product purchased online lionesse.com offers a 100% Manufacturer Satisfaction Guarantee and will permit an exchange of the purchased product for any alternative Lionesse product of equal or lesser value. Notes on Products for Exchanges:

  • Products must be returned in original packaging and include all accessories, user guides, certification, and accessories.
  • Products must be returned with a purchase receipt within 30 days of purchase.
  • Products that have been damaged or defaced are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Any additional charges (e.g. postage) will be incurred at the customer’s expense.
  • Products that are damaged, delayed or lost in transit are the sole responsibility of the customer. Lionesse is not responsible for the return parcel and its contents until it arrives on Lionesse premises safely.
